Kompressor Systems Inc. (KSI) is built on a foundation of a strong engineering legacy, led by experienced technocrats. Our commitment is encapsulated in our core philosophy: Customer First, Customer Safety, Customer Delight. We specialize in precision components and complex sub-assemblies manufacturing, particularly in low-volume, high-complexity parts, which has allowed us to produce a range of products from oil-free reciprocating compressors from 1 HP to 350 HP to high-pressure truck mounted compressors for pressurization of oil and gas wells to evacuation compressors for LPG bottling plants. A landmark achievement demonstrating our technical depth is the development and supply of about 1000 high-pressure tank air compressors for the Defense sector.

Kompressor Systems Inc. (KSI) was founded in 2002 on a bedrock of deep technical expertise and family values. What began as a specialist firm for high-precision components has evolved into a premier manufacturer of complete compressor systems, dedicated to solving complex engineering challenges in defense and industrial segments.

Meet our founder: Mr. S.B. Singh

KSI is led by Mr. S.B. Singh, a veteran technocrat with over 35 years of experience at the forefront of global compressor innovation. An IIT Mumbai alumnus, Mr. Singh’s career is defined by leadership roles at the world’s most prestigious engineering firms: General Manager at Ingersoll Rand, Managing Director at K G Khosla Compressors, and President at Anest Iwata Motherson. Throughout his tenure, he has pioneered modernization programs and ERP rollouts; his crowning achievement remains a contribution to national defense - during his tenure at KG Khosla was awarded the First Prize In Indigenisation by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam for development of a high pressure compressor for launching of Aakash Missile.

The name KSI represents a bridge between heritage and the future, named for the next generation of the family’s commitment: Kanwal Deep and Sandeep.

2002

Foundation

• Established Kompressor Systems Inc. at a rental property in Faridabad.
• Commenced manufacturing of critical compressor parts for a Japanese JV compressor company.

2003 – 2005

Capability Development

• Developed an Air Brake Compressor as per customer’s sample, for export markets.
• Developed complete compressor components for in-house manufacturing.
• Expanded into lubricated and non-lubricated compressors up to 20 HP.

2006 – 2012

Engineering Expansion

• Developed water-cooled heavy-duty reciprocating compressors.
• Expanded exports to Thailand and Kenya.
• Developed LPG compressor components and Dissolved Acetylene Gas compressor systems.
• Commenced supply and service of compressors / parts and vacuum pumps to LPG bottling plants and hospitals.

2013 – 2018

Defence & Precision Manufacturing

• Secured development order from HVF for Aviation Compressors.
• Successfully underwent stringent defence qualification audits.
• Exported a 350 HP oil-free compressor package to Saudi Arabia.
• Developed drive shafts for a multinational as part of railway equipment.
• Exported dissolved acetylene compressors to Egypt.
• Manufactured a 125HP oil free high pressure air compressor for a big pet bottling plant​
• Developed and manufactured a high-pressure truck mounted packaged compressor for pressurization of oil and gas wells.

Expansion & Output Scale-up

• Established a new owned manufacturing facility in Pune.
• Set up facility for repairs and refurbishing of tank compressors.
• Installed state of the art equipment.
• Expanded manufacturing capacity / output several folds.

• Manufactured and supplied LPG evacuation compressor, running successfully for over a year.
• Manufactured a high-pressure reciprocating compressor complete with blower and water drainage pump for armored vehicles.
